Your December 2020/January 2021 Teacher's Guide
Dear Teachers,
As this historic, unprecedented, and at times painful year comes to a close, I can’t help but think about the ways our world has changed. That’s why I was so thrilled when our fabulous assistant editor, Alex Lim-Chua Wee, pitched this issue’s infographic: Your 2020 Time Capsule. (Turn to the back page of the student magazine to find out which items we chose to include!)
What excites me most about this engaging graphic is the fantastic activity that goes along with it. Students can use our Google Slides template to create their very own time capsule, or you can complete the exercise as a class—a perfect opportunity to pause and reflect on what has defined this challenging year . . . and how we’ve all grown stronger as a result.
The world may be quite different from what we imagined at this time last year, but we hope that Action has been a steady and reliable presence in your classroom. We’re looking forward to 2021 with optimism!
